Services and activities
We raise funds and help secure gifts in kind for improving the conditions for the children and staff at the Detske Centrum in Prague 4 by doing the following:
Refurbishing the interiors from a traditional hospital/institutional set up to a more family-based layout (smaller, "flat-like" sections with kitchenettes, living area, bedroom).
Activities for the children including trips into the countryside/nature, musical therapy, dog therapy, horse therapy etc.
Furnishing children's play area with toy furniture (toy stoves, toy washing machines, etc.).
Purchasing necessary medical equipment for the children (such as QUICK read - diagnostic appliances).
Buying presents for the children at Christmas, Easter.
Improving the work environment and safety by purchasing sterilizing devices for baby bottles/pacifiers, microwave ovens, dishwashers, window shades, etc.
